Mr Masaru Murata
Ship and Boat Desinger, Manufacturer and Consultant
Masaru Murata was born in Kanagawa, Japan in 1957.
At the young age of 16, he designed and built his very first wooden Canoe.
One year later, Murata has successfully built his first wooden sail boat at the age of 17.
His passion and love for Boats Design and Building has been burning in his heart and soul until today.
Murata had a racing Team in Japan, famously known as Team GODDESS.
Goddess has won top placement in many races in the categories for OFF-1 Class to OFF-3 class.
Today, at 50, Murata has over 35 years of boat design and manufacturing experience. His expertise and technical know how has been highly sought after by major boat and ship design and manufacturers internationally.
Murata also plays an important role in Training and Education in various Universities throughout Asia pacific.
He has presented many papers on Boat design and manufacturing to various Institutions and Universities.
